Elizabeth Miller McCue - He Loves Me... He Loves Me Not
The final work in PNC Arts Alive Outdoor Sculpture Project for 2016 is being installed by artist Elizabeth Miller McCue, on North Main Street New Hope this Friday, October 28.
He Loves Me... He Loves Me Not...is a site-specific work that was designed for the Sculpture Design Competition in January 2016 at New Hope Arts. The piece was voted among the most popular works and host, JaQuinnley Kerr, provided a site for the development of the piece. McCue, an internationally known sculptor form Yardley, developed the full scale work that includes large bright powder-coated steel elements, petals and spheres representing scattered daisies. The footprint of the piece covers a 45 ft. square section of lawn at The Studio Sculpture Garden making the completed sculpture visible from the street and side walk for North Main passersby. He Loves Me... marks the fifth new installation among 17 works already on view. |
